Main Theme

“Decision Support System Technology in the AI Era”

The ICDSST 2025 provides a dynamic platform for sharing pioneering research, practices, and advancements in decision support systems (DSS). With a focus on AI-powered models and their real-world impact across various industries, this year’s theme explores how artificial intelligence transforms decision-making frameworks. We invite researchers, industry experts, educators, and policymakers to present their work and exchange ideas that shape the future of decision-making technologies.

The conference, organized under the Euro-Working Group on Decision Support Systems (EWG-DSS), offers a unique opportunity to dive into the future of DSS in the age of AI.

The ICDSST 2025 conference offers diverse publication opportunities for accepted contributions. These include Local Proceedings and the Springer Lecture Notes in Business Information Processing (LNBIP) series, alongside two special issues in leading journals. The first is in the International Transactions in Operational Research (ITOR), the official journal of IFORS, with a 2023 Impact Factor of 3.1, recognized in Operations Research and Management Science. The second special issue will be in Computer Science and Information Systems (ComSIS), which held a 2023 Impact Factor of 1.2 and is known for its focus on software engineering and information systems.

Why Join Us?

  • Research Dialogue: Share and explore emerging approaches in AI-assisted decision support in an environment where every presentation gets meaningful discussion time and feedback.
  • Focused Community: Experience a carefully curated gathering where academics and practitioners can have in-depth conversations rather than parallel sessions rushing through topics.
  • Hands-on Exchange: Participate in interactive sessions where participants can dive deep into methodologies and implementation challenges with peers who face similar questions.
  • Quality Connections: Build lasting research relationships in a setting designed for genuine interaction – where coffee breaks and social events become opportunities for real collaboration.
